The hosts Costa and Christina were so friendly and accommodating. We were upgraded upon arrival and they were able to accommodate us changing plans and extending our stay while also giving us a room with a view of the harbour. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and gave us a bit of local history. The location is central and markets and shops are very close. For the price it was great value. Rooms are showing age but are very clean and have what you need.

The property was lovely and clean, quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Livadi but close enough to be just 5 minutes walk to it, and best of all the amaaaazing views across the bay from our room! We would definitely consider coming back to Studios Niovi if we return to the island.

An absolutely beautiful property. The photos on Booking.com didn't do it justice.
We had a split-level room with the bedroom upstairs and a stunning roof terrace - a fantastic vantage point for the harbour and ferries coming and going.
Our hosts were very kind and the couple who take care of the hotel - Evelyn and her husband - made our stay particularly memorable with their friendliness and eagerness to help.
Breakfast was lovely. Our hosts very kindly collected us and returned us to the port.
The property is a little way from the harbour up a steep hill but we had a scooter so this was no problem. The walk would be quite hard work.
Very highly recommended.

Livadi is the sort of place you see in films (Mama Mia,...
Livadi is the sort of place you see in films (Mama Mia, Shirley Valentine) but don’t expect ever to visit. We trundled our suitcases off the ferry and along the main (only) street past fishing boats and restaurants with tables on the narrow sandy beach. Yachts bobbed in the bay. Nothing much else was happening. That was the beauty of it.
The only regular bus service takes you slowly up the very steep hill from the port to the village of Hora…..or you can try walking up on the old mule track, but only if you’re pretty fit. Hora itself is surely one of the prettiest villages in the Cyclades with stunning views.
Beyond Hora, the 2 main attractions of Serifos are its beaches (numerous, beautiful, sandy, warm water) and its hiking trails (spectacular but some better waymarked than others - buy a hiking map in a Livadi supermarket).
Enjoy it - but don’t tell too many other people!

A beautiful real Greek town.
A beautiful real Greek town. Excellent restaurants, bakeries supermarkets pharmacy. Regular bus up to Chora, a must visit village. Port, ferries so close and convenient. I met helpful, lovely local people. There is some great looking accommodation close to town, beach and garden settings. Don't stay above restaurants as noisy.

Best place to stay if you don't have or rent a vehicle. Buses run frequently from the port to Chora, and from another small plateia to various beautiful beaches. The beach of Livadion is great, and the lovely beach of Livadakia just around the corner.
Lots of great restaurants and cafe/bars in the harbor, but it is also worth walking a little further around the bay to Stamatis restaurant, which serves traditionally Greek food excellently prepared. Their fish soup was the best I've had.

Stay in Livadion for a choice of bars and restaurants. There are 2 very large beaches one right in the town and the other a very short walk. Even the spectacular beaches of Agios Sostis and Lia Beach are only about 35 minutes walk away.
Take the bus (1.8 Euros) up to the Chora and then take the spectacular walk (wide path with steps) back.
Giannis and Nikolas were exceptional hosts and quick friends. They handled all business above expectations and were accommodating with my check out, luggage, late ferry off the island. The daily cleaning and provision of coffee and light breakfast fare made all the difference as I had never been to the island of Serifos before. I only intended to stay two nights and extended to 5 days total. BONUS: Giannis' mother even made complimentary breakfast cake - delicious with the Greek coffee ☕
Great location on the beach, with a great view. The best thing about the Maistrali is the owner Babis, and his entire staff. If you need anything, or you need advice or help, he is always available. They were not serving breakfast during Covid, but Bobis has made his kitchen facilities available to guests, who can make their own coffee, and enjoy their breakfast on the patio facing the water. We will always return to the Maistrali when we visit Serifos.
Gorgeous brand new house that has everything you'll need for your stay in Serifos. Very nicely designed home with comfortable beds and an amazing rain shower with excellent pressure. The shower was so good I had to mention it in this review. Kitchen is fully stocked. Has laundry machine as well. The terrace is a great place to spend some time after a long day at the beach. I highly recommend.
Everything was perfect, we were a group of 4 people, the villa is brand new, great attention to detail and really nice design. Very close to the seaside (Livadi). The owner was very helpful and attended to all our needs. The exterior space was great and the view even though it is not that high was fantastic. We all enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it
An ideal place for a relaxing vacation. Beautiful, clean, cozy rooms, a wonderful, friendly, open and at the same time very discreet host. To top it all, the marvellous location, which not only oversees the picturesque Serifos port and the Chora, but offers nearly 360° view of the sea. Set your alarm clock and watch the sun rising over the Cyclades 😉
This cute little hotel was very well centered. It was close to the port of Livadi, a variety of shops and restaurants were nearby and beaches were accessible by walk.
The hotel itself was clean and decent. The TV had channels in different languages which was a great thing!
We were impressed by the thoughtfulness and kindness of the owners !
