The main unit, measuring 86 m2 (926 ft2), has a minimalist style with rustic touches such as the high wooden ceiling, stone arches, and a cooking fireplace. It features a fully equipped kitchen with retro-style appliances, two bathrooms with showers, a living room with a large corner-sofa and a dining table, as well as a double bedroom with a stairway to an open loft, thus creating two spaces for relaxing or sleeping. The main sleeping area features a king-size bed in the bedroom, as well as a single bed and a sofa-bed in the loft. Overall, the main unit can accommodate up to 5 guests. Apart from the patio, it also has access to a private backyard with elegant outdoor furniture, where you can enjoy your breakfast or lunch in privacy. The secondary unit, measuring 36 m2 (388 ft2), is a dome-shaped single space with a small area equipped with the necessary appliances to make coffee, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. Its king-size bed and sofa can accommodate up to 2 persons. Both units have access to the patio with its old well, where you can enjoy private moments of relaxation under the pergola with the grapevine.

Tholos Cottage is located in the village of Sternai (or Sternes - Cisterns), on the Akrotiri peninsula, Chania, just 1.6 kilometres from Chania International Airport and 14 kilometres from the Chania city centre and the Old Venetian Harbour. Several renowned beaches of the prefecture of Chania, such as Marathi, Loutraki, Seitan Limania, and Stavros beach, where “Zorba the Greek” was filmed, are conveniently located in close proximity to the village. Among the attractions worth visiting in Akrotiri are the historic monasteries of Agia Triada Tzagarolon, Gouverneto, and Katholiko.
