The house is in a quiet area in the mountains on a sand road, far away from it all! The condition of the sand road (about 800 metres) is out of our control and a jeep is preferable. Politika village and the town of Psachna are both about 7km away. The city of Chalkida / Halkida is a 20min drive. The swimming pools (Coco Beach House & Tuz Beach Bar) and the sea are about 4km away from the house. There are beach bars, watersports and restaurants near the sea. To get around, it is best you rent a car, preferably a jeep. There is a bus Politika / Psachna to the capital Chalkida. From Chalkida there is a train to central Athens. The Athens International airport is about 110 km away and there is a suspension bridge that crosses from the mainland to the island of Evia, so you do not need to wait hours for a boat.
