This spacious house has a beautiful & magical feel about it providing a home away from home experience with the added bonus of being transported to a beautiful part of mainland Greece. The house itself is nestled in an olive grove with spectacular views of the Pagasitikos Bay. A 5 minute walk through the olive groves leads to the clear waters of Belian beach. As soon as you enter the open plan sitting room you are drawn by the warm colors & furnishings and can walk out onto a big welcoming balcony with comfy seating where you can gaze out at stunning sunsets and enjoy the tranquility of the bay. The view alone is mesmerizing! The kitchen is fully equipped & becomes the hub of activity where delicious meals are prepared. You can also dine 'al fresco' using the fully equipped BBQ. There is a master bedroom with a private balcony and bathroom on the first floor as well as two single rooms with their bathroom. Downstairs are three beautifully decorated rooms with a bathroom between them. For the more adventurous there are two outdoor showers. For those who simply wish to enjoy being at one with nature there are tranquil shaded areas with hammocks & chaise longs. The terraces provide a perfect space for meditation and yoga!
Hello! I am very excited to welcome you to Olive Grove House where I trust you will enjoy a truly tranquil time, reconnect with family & friends and be at one with nature. The sea is absolutely beautiful and the local tavernas in Kalamos, just a short walk away, provide delicious traditional Greek food. Pelion itself is magical and there is plenty to do and visit either by car or hiking for the more adventurous. You can even walk with horses to re-energize while making new discoveries of the area. For those who prefer adventures at sea you can hire a sailing boat for the day from Milina and sail the Pagasitikos Bay. The opportunities are infinite and the memories ever lasting. I always enjoy coming to Olive Grove House to reconnect with family and friends, re-energize myself and connect with nature.
The house is nestled in an expanse of olive groves. A five minute walk through the olive groves leads to the clear waters of Belian beach. You can drive your car part way down the road if you are not inclined to walk. The nearby sea village of Kalamos is within walking distance and has two tavernas where you can sample tasty Greek food. The nearest village of Argalasti is an 8 minute drive from the house where grocery supplies can be bought by the guests. On Saturdays there is the local market ‘laiki’ where fresh produce is sold (honey, herbs, fruit, vegetables, & local produce). There are plenty of restaurants in the nearby villages of Horto, Milina, Lafkos where you can make new culinary discoveries! For those who enjoy sailing you can hire a sailing boat from Milina or join a seafaring adventure across the Pagasitikos bay where you can visit the impressive Monastery of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary on the island of Old Trikeri and then enjoy a delicious meal in one of the local tavernas. The villages nestled high up in mount Pelion are well worth a visit as they offer a different perspective of this mythical mountainous region. There is also a breathtaking train ride which takes you from Ano Lehonia to Milies - be sure to book on line.
