Welcome to West View B&B (Dog Friendly) so no need to leave your pooch behind. There is no extra charge for your dogs. pet bowl is available ., we also have our own shih tzu puppy , Mymy who loves all attention from Guests and is very friendly . We have rooms available to sleep up to 4 people , in our spare rooms above our garage . there is also a shower room / saniflo toilet within this area. we never ask you to share bedrooms or shower room etc with other guests, so whether you book for 1/2/3 or 4 guests the whole bedroom suite is for your family/ group of 4 . unfortunately the saniflow is an electric mascerator which may make some noise during flushing which can not be avoided . The facilities we offer are TV's in each bedroom, and use of our conservatory as your lounge/ dining room, again with an additional TV/DVD player/ radio. Whilst we are not a self contained accommodation, we do offer some self catering facilities. you have a kettle, toaster, halogen oven, microwave and fridge for your own personal use, plus for an addition fee you can use the washing machine.
we have been hosting guests since 2015 , as we love meeting new people into our environment, we just love hosting, and like to make guests feel relaxed, calm and at home. we don't mind if you have breakfast in lounge wear or pj's, I know I don't like to rush up early to arrive for breakfast. we have a lot of local knowledge that we can advise you of places to visit. breakfast is optional, so you can either contact me to pre arrange which come at an additional price under 3 years are free. I offer a choice of 3 cereals, fruit juice, yoghurts, a plate of sausages and bacon, bread rolls, sauces, pastries, toast and jams/ marmalade. breakfast is served between 8am - 9.30am . however if you wish to self service, there are plates, bowels, knives, forks, spoons etc within your facilities .
Atwick is a pretty country village located 3 miles from the seaside town of Hornsea, 12 miles from Bridlington . There is a pub directly opposite the B&B which serves food . (due soon) There is a church and village hall in Atwick . The nearest shops are in Hornsea , where you will also find a range of cafes, restaurants , ATM. There are the beautiful market towns of Beverley and Driffield within half an hour by car from the guest house. should you wish to travel to see country homes and gardens and even a zoo , there are a selection in the area. including sewerby gardens and zoo.where you will find penguins, monkeys, parrots etc. Park rose shopping village and zoo, were you can see birds, Horses, Flamingos, willerbies, Goats, Horses, owls, camels, Hornsea Freeport shopping centre with discounted prices. ,Skirlington Market and Car boot on a Sunday morning. Wassand Hall , Burton Agnes country House and Gardens. Miniature village at sewerby, Bempton bird reserve ,with a fantastic range of birds that migrate to the cliffs each season, with a viewing point to get up close and take some beautiful photos. In Hornsea there are various cafes and restaurants, including chinese,Indian, french and Italian, plus traditional English food, and of course traditional Fish & Chips. (both restaurant or takeaway) plus several take away places that do delivery for a small charge. taxis are also available .
