The property is set in beautiful Suffolk countryside via a private driveway and in 1.2 acres of grounds. We have a large pool terrace which guests can enjoy during their stay. We also have a lovely landscaped back garden with a newly built terrace (May 23) where guests are also welcome to lounge and enjoy the gardens. Please note: The pool is heated but is seasonal. In 2024 it will be ready for use by Mid June up to the end of September. Inside, the property has been completed redecorated in tasteful colours with accents of green and blue. We have two guest rooms available. A double room with pool view is a huge room with a super king size bed, en suite and lounge area with sofa overlooking the pool with patio doors that lead directly onto the pool. The room with a garden view has a double bed, private bathroom, separate dressing room and beautiful views of the main garden. We have lots of free parking available onsite (up to 15 cars). Guests will be given keys to their rooms on arrival and are able to access the property through a private entrance which is separate to the owners part of the property. The 2 rooms available are at each end of a large hallway giving guests maximum privacy.

We are new to hosting but really enjoy welcoming all our guests. We want everyone to have a great experience during their stay with us. We have just introduced tea and coffee making facilities in the room at no extra charge to make our guests feel more at home. We want everyone to escape and have a lovely time. Carolyn's main hobby is interior (and exterior) designing and looking after their 2 cocker spaniel dogs who are 10 and 1.5 years old. Both very friendly and absolutely love being around other people. Chris has multiple hobbies but enjoys helping with the house and garden too.

We are very lucky to live in a fantastic area. 1 min walk away you will find The Walnut Tree Pub which serves good pub food and drinks and just a 5 minute walk away you have Worlington Hall Hotel which serves fabulous food, drinks and cocktails and holds regular events. Both are open Weds to Sun every week and offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. We are a 12 minute drive to Newmarket which is great for the racing season. We are 25 minutes from Cambridge City centre where you can enjoy a huge array of shops and see beautiful architecture with the University and College buildings. We are a 25 minute drive to Bury St Edmunds which has so much to offer. The Abbey Gardens and historic ruins and lots of lovely independent shops.
