On Tyddyn Du farm land we have 2 Shepherds Huts and a Pod. These Shepherds Huts are wonderfully sited on our farmland overlooking Moel Siabod and the magnificent Snowdonia Mountain Range. As we’ve mentioned, the shepherds huts are placed on our land, so there is no powered electricity, all off grid which makes it unique to a lot of Glamping sites. The lights are powered by a solar panel and Gas to heat the water, there are socket to charge your mobile or Ipad. There are plenty of solar lamps outside to help you find your way around the Huts when it gets dark. They say that The Snowdonia National Park has one of the darkest sky's in the country, no light pollution. Our Shepherds Huts have all you need for a cozy retreat away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A couple of days away to relax or a whole week maybe to enjoy the many attractions that we have in the area. The 1st Hut has a double bed/sofa and a log burner and the 2nd Hut consists of a Shower/toilet and a well stocked Kitchenette. In addition to the Huts we have The Pod , which has a double bed and a bunkbed and an additional toilet. ALSO an addition to the Huts and Pod we have a Luv tub, room enough for 2 people , and a larger Tub for up to 6 guests. The Hot Tub is heated up on arrival and will be heated up the following days during your stay. Breakfast can be ordered at an extra fee, and will be brought up to the Huts.

Hi, im Menna your host . I have been hosting guests since 28 years . When our 2 boys were little i used to keep a Bed and Breakfast business, and then in 2014 we started the Glamping Huts and in 2020 we opened a Barn Conversion ' Beudy'r Wennol ' but by now i have finished with the B&B. I enjoy gardening, sewing and sing in a local Choir.

The Farm is located high up on a hill with Spectacular views of the Snowdonia Mountains. We are in a very peaceful countryside area, within 3 miles from Llanrwst, the nearest shopping town and many Hotels and good restaurants. The popular village of Betws-y-Coed is only 6 miles away. The Zip World Forest attraction is just a stones throw from here , and the other two Zip adventures are about 20 minutes away. Bodnant Gardens is about 15 minutes and Conwy and Llandudno towns are just a further 10 miles away. Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) is about 40 minutes away. The best advice i can give you if you are planning to walk up the mountain is to either book an early morning place for your car at the top of Pen y Pass OR park inna designated parking area in Betws-y-Coed and catch the Sherpa bus up to Pen y pass. Or drive to Llanberis and then catch the Sherpa bus there.
