Neighbourhood information

The neighbourhood The house is located in the coastal village of Llanbedrog and is just a few minutes’ walk from Llanbedrog beach, a very handy beach bar and restaurant and the Plas Glyn y Weddw Art Gallery and Cafe. Meanwhile, the Glyn y Weddw Arms pub is right on the doorstep and serves a range of traditional dishes. The village also benefits from two convenience stores, a fine dining restaurant and another pub, all within walking distance of Ty Hir. Being on the beautiful Llyn Peninsula, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are many beautiful beaches nearby including those of the popular coastal resort of Abersoch, just a few minutes away. Abersoch is at the south end of the Llyn Peninsula and has convenience stores, sophisticated shops, a range of delis, pubs and restaurants. There is plenty to see and do and Abersoch’s long sandy beach with a sailing school and a host of water sports facilities. For walkers, the Wales Coastal Path weaves along the Llyn Peninsula, taking in a host of beaches, coves and headlands. If you are lucky, you may catch a glimpse of the visiting dolphins and seals. There are many attractions within easy driving distance of the house, with something to suit every age and taste. Head into the Snowdonia National Park and ride the train to the summit of Mount Snowdon, or take a trip through the Welsh countryside on the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways. Getting around A car is recommended for travelling to the property and ease of getting around. There are two parking spaces beside the property.
