Turnpike Cottage is a charming, detached cottage overlooking Tetbury Old Town and is just minutes walk to the Town Centre. The cottage also has fabulous country walks on its doorstep and is a short walk to The Great Tythe Barn, which is a beautiful wedding and party venue, and a short drive to Chavenage House, Kingscote Barn, Westonbirt, Badminton Horse Trials and Kemble Train Station. The cottage is perfectly situated for all of these amenities and benefits from private parking for 2 to 3 cars, behind secure electric gates. The cottage can accommodate up to 7 guests, with a squeeze and more suitable for families who don't mind sharing and squishing in but is more comfortable for two couples with a single friend for the sofa bed or small children.
I love welcoming new guests and showing them around the cottage. We have a welcome folder with helpful information needed to enjoy their stay along with suggested walks, prepared by my husband, for potential ramblers. We're always on hand to help, if required.
Turnpike Cottage is situated in a lovely part of Tetbury, very close to the cottage hospital and a lovely pedestrian walk to a children’s play area, The Goods Shed, The Royal Oak Pub and a longer pedestrian pathway called The Tetbury Trail, all the way to The Trouble House Pub.
