Looking for some good walking trails?Whether you're getting ready to hike, cycle, trail run, or explore other outdoor pursuits, there are plenty of picturesque trails in the Highbridge area. Greenlands is 0.5 miles from Highbridge town centre and train station. The station is accessible by walking or driving and offers good transport links to Weston Super Mare, Bristol, Bath, Taunton, and Exeter. Greenlands is just 1 mile away from Burnham on Sea town centre. There are plenty of ways to reach Burnham, strolling through the Apex, walking along the River Brue or stopping off for drinks and/or food along the way. Brean Leisure Centre is a short bus ride away with buses leaving from Highbridge and Burnham. Greenlands is located 1 mile from the M5 J22 and 18 miles to Bristol airport (30 mins). Apex Leisure and Wildlife Park 0.6 miles from Highbridge ~ covers over 42 acres, offering visitors a chance to relax away from the bustle of Burnham’s shopping centre and beach if needed. Many different birds, ducks, and herons can be seen in and around the lake. Gentle walks ~ A picturesque, gentle walk around the lake is marked out with a level footpath. This should take no more than 40 minutes to complete at a medium pace. Fishing ~ The fishing rights for Apex Lake are held by the Highbridge Angling Association.
