The Studio is an idyllic place for a holiday! We are situated between the villages of Mullion and Lizard, the most southerly point of the UK in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Perfect for walkers and for families.

I've been a teacher for over 40 years, and after spending a lot of time living abroad I moved back to the UK and settled in Cornwall with my family. I now run a small educational business teaching English to foreign students and running literature courses for children. I live with my husband Nick and our small dog Max on a two acre homestead in an area of outstanding natural beauty. We both love hosting and meeting new people from around the world. We enjoy walking, gardening, growing our own vegetables in our kitchen garden, and of course teaching! We are very happy to offer advice and directions for places to visit during your stay. We have set the Studio up to be self-catering but if you would prefer we can offer breakfast for an additional cost. We (Deborah & Nick, and occasional family members) will be around on the property (we live next door, as it were!) to help in any way we can.

We are in a small hamlet which is very isolated and surrounded by peaceful farmland. The nearest small shop is at Lizard Point Holiday Park (1.5 miles), but there are more substantial shops in Mullion village (3 miles). The nearest bus stop is 1.5 miles away, with hourly buses going between Helston and Lizard village. The closest supermarkets are in the town of Heston (8 miles), which is the gateway to the Lizard Peninsular. Petrol can be purchased at Kynance Garage (2 miles) if needs be, but also in Helston’s Tesco / Sainsbury’s. We have car parking next to the Studio and a safe place for bicycles.
