NEW!! Super stylish, modern, spacious apartment, tucked away in a side street just off the Royal Mile, the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town. You can walk to anywhere - this fantastic apartment is perfectly located right in the centre of all the main attractions, with a wide range of restaurants, pubs, comedy clubs and night life round the corner. The New Town with all its shops and restaurants is a short walk across North Bridge. There's a car park with EV charging 150m away. The central (Waverley) Station is 400m away. The apartment the top flat in a 4 storey building, far above the hustle and bustle. Please note though, in common with most apartments in Edinburgh's old town, there is no lift.
After years years of globe trotting, we moved to Scotland 10 years ago, and haven't really left since. I take pride in our flat - it's been a labour of love. I love to think of people staying here and enjoying it.
Edinburgh's old town is a fascinating place, steeped in history and built on top of even older history - you can still visit whole streets under ground. The Royal Mile connects Holyrood Palace at the bottom of the hill and Edinburgh Castle at the top. The flat sits roughly in the middle of both. You couldn't get more central without getting into a debate about where the centre really is. The old adage that all Scottish food is based on a dare is out dated - there are a host of great restaurants nearby from cheap eats to Michelin starred (book way in advance). Despite being so central, the street is relatively quiet. All the main attractions are a short walk away.
