The cottage sits on the hillside overlooking the bustling fishing harbour. Every room has spectacular views across Mounts Bay to St Michael’s Mount and out to sea. So you can sit back, relax and enjoy the ever changing seascape. Sun terrace and small garden. The house is reached by a short steep lane from the center of Newlyn. There is parking for one normal sized car on site. NB The hill and parking need care to negotiate. Alternative flat parking a few minutes away. NB This cottage is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues due to hill and steps . The cottage is moments walk to cafes, pubs and beach. From the private road, seven steps lead to a raised terrace and the front door. There is a cosy sitting room with 2 sofas, an open plan dining room area with kitchen and dishwasher. Through the kitchen is a wc and door to back yard with covered drying area for wet suits. A gate leads to the small terraced garden with seating area and parking. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a large twin room and bathroom. West Cornwall is well known for its amazing coastal landscapes, beautiful sandy beaches, sheltered coves, fishing villages and mining heritage. Add to this the art galleries, theatres, gardens and a reputation for good local food and its clear why the area is so popular. Newlyn is ideally situated to enjoy the many attractions of West Cornwall. Newlyn is an important fishing harbour and the fishmongers on The Strand all have a wonderful choice. Only a few minutes stroll from the house include; fishmongers, bakers, butcher, greengrocer and a small supermarket. Many cafes within a few minutes walk.
