Welcome to Neigh's Gate!! Neigh's Gate is a newly refurbished lodge situated at Brynwichell Farm. Set in 60 acres of beautiful Welsh countryside and overlooking the Gors Caranod and Cambrian Mountains, you will be greeted by horses, rare breed Belted Galloway cattle, sheep, a vast array of birds including cuckoo's, woodpeckers, snipe and woodcock and if you are incredibly lucky even the odd otter as you explore your surroundings. Neigh's Gate itself is a private 40ft by 14ft lodge which sleeps up to 6 people, comprising 3 bedrooms and a living room that can be converted into a fourth bedroom if necessary using the sofa bed. There are two bathrooms one of which is an en-suite shower room and the other has a bath with shower head attachment. There is a spacious kitchen and large living/dining area where your family can enjoy the views over the farm. There is plenty to do at Brynwichell Farm including: 1. Walking the grounds and local forestry; 2. Seeing all the animals; 3. Bring your horse and have them stay next to you in the adjoining field and explore the local bridleways and beaches by hoof; 4. Fishing for brown trout on our wild ponds; or 5. Simply relax in the lodge.

We are a small young family (Keleigh, Ollie and Harry) with a love of animals and the countryside. Originally from England, we relocated to West Wales to follow our dream of owning a house with land where we could have the horses at home and somewhere idyllic we could raise our little boy. Since moving, we have realised the importance of the cattle and sheep to help improve and maintain the land's biodiversity, reinstating the land back to an organic working farm. We truly hope that our guests feel comfortable in Neigh's Gate and find their stay peaceful and relaxing. Your host Keleigh, can help you with anything you need, nothing is too much trouble to ensure you get the most out of your stay. There is no greater satisfaction than to know our guests have had a lovely time and want to stay with us again.

Whether you want to immerse yourself in what Brynwichell Farm has to offer, use the nearby footpaths and bridleways connected to the Farm, or go and see what the local towns and Welsh villages have to offer, there really is so much you can do during your stay at Neigh's Gate. Based in Bethania, Aberaeron is the nearest coastal town which is only 10 minutes away and is very quaint with boutique shops, cafes selling delicious cakes and a good selection of coffee and teas, ice creams, fish and chips, pubs, bars and restaurants. Aberaeron is also known for its pretty harbour, crabbing, its beach and coastal walks. Aberystwyth is 25 minutes away, here there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, historic ruins, beaches, promenade, harbour, arts centre and Vale of Rheidol Railway which offers a steam train ride to Devil's Bridge featuring waterfalls, the 'Devil's Bridge' and surrounding Hafod estate. New Quay, originally known as a fishing port, is 25 minutes away, here there are beautiful sandy beaches, dolphin spotting tours, the best local ice cream and fish and chips. If it is more remote beaches you are after there are Penbryn and Mwnt which are highly recommended.
