We recommend visiting the many parks situated close by including Roundhay Park, Golden Acre Park and Chevin Country Park. Meanwood Valley Farm is a lovely day out if travelling with children. Headingley and Chapel Allerton are reachable in a 5-10 minute drive, with many bars, cafes and restaurants to choose from. In a 10 minute drive, you can explore Leeds city centre.
