The Long Linhay is a beautiful spacious cottage ideally situated close to the villages of Mortehoe and Woolacombe. The cottage offers something special - quality, peaceful accommodation for couples. Uniquely set in six acres of farmland with rural and sea views and lots of wonderful walks from the door. The Long Linhay is proud to be pet free & non smoking/vaping accommodation. The Long Linhay has a modern, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave and washer/dryer. The stylish living room has a wood burning stove for cosy evenings and TV and audio system with iPod dock. The large bedroom has a king size bed & TV. The bathroom has a bath and a seperate shower. The Long Linhay offers a high level of comfort with oak floors, full central heating, free Wi-Fi and a private sun trap patio with sun loungers and BBQ. There is plenty of parking adjacent to the cottage. All linen and towels are provided accept beach towels, but these can be provided on request. The Long Linhay is non-smoking, pet free accommodation.
Hi my name is Kate Parker, together with my husband Roger, we own and personally manage the Long Linhay. Our aim is to provide you with the very best accommodation to make your holiday as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. As we live close by we are always available if you need any help or advice but will not intrude on your privacy. We have extensive local knowledge and can help you get the best out of your holiday. Why Kate Parker chose Woolacombe Roger and I feel very fortunate living in such a beautiful area of the country. Mortehoe is a lovely, warm and welcoming village and the area is steeped in history. We love walking the South West Coast path and exploring Exmoor and never get tired of watching the seals play off Morte Point. The countryside is stunning and each season has its own beauty.
The Long Linhay is set in an ideal location. The cottage is perfect for couples who are looking for something a bit special. It is large and comfortable with modern facilities whilst retaining its original character and charm. You are surrounded by beautiful countryside and wonderful views with superb walking from the door. However you are only a short distance from the beaches and villages and lots of amenities and tourist attractions should you choose to visit them. You CAN have the best of both worlds!
