A beautiful house offering B&B set within the Cumbrian countryside and in walking distance of Lanercost Priory and Hadrian's Wall. A rural setting with quiet and peaceful surroundings. There are no pubs or restaurants in the village, the closest is three miles away. If you like bustle, night clubs and lively venues....this is not the place for you! This is a non smoking house which also operates a curfew time of 11.30 to ensure guests' comfort and restfulness. Ideally suited to an older guest or those seeking a rural historic landscape. This is not a romantic destination in the modern sense of the word. An ideal base for daytime activities only.
So many tourist attractions in the area including Hadrian's Wall, Corbridge, Hexham, Carlisle and the fabulous Lanercost Priory tea and gift shop. Lakes 40 minutes away and Gretna about 30 minutes. Museums, cathedrals, abbeys and the great outdoors all are there for the asking.
