Nestled in tranquil Somerset countryside, this rural retreat benefits from awe-inspiring views to the Mendip Hills AONB and Chew Valley Lake. Relaxed, remote and welcoming, it is kitted out with all the essentials for a memorable gathering, with sociable living areas, plenty of parking and well-fitted bedrooms. The perfect party pad for celebratory hijinks - eat, drink and make merry! This is our most suited property for effortless entertaining into the early hours. On-site amenities include two outdoor hot tubs heated all year. Or shoot some pool in the Sports Bar, fire up the gas Barbie on the sun-trap terrace and make a toast to great friends and good company. Beyond the tall glass windows, two acres of sprawling grounds pan away to jaw-dropping views of the sedate rolling hills and lake. At the Paddocks, there's another large private decked area with a fabulous bar and outdoor Smart TV with Sky Sports outside and plenty of seating for everyone, as well as a 6 seater hot tub. Take advantage of the Sky package, excellent WiFi access, and music system throughout the house and garden.

Neighbourhood information

Amidst glorious Somerset countryside, enjoy wonderful walks and spot the wildlife that have made this stunning beauty spot their home. Within easy reach are the impressive gorge and caves of Cheddar and Wookey Hole, the cathedral city of Wells, historic Glastonbury, the Georgian city of Bath and the home of Isambard Kingdom Brunel: Bristol. The village of Chew Magna is 3 miles and offers a range of shops, pubs and restaurants to pick up those last minute bits. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby including The Blue Bowl in West Harptree. Kingsley Lake View & Paddocks also provides perfect group accommodation for guests attending weddings at Coombe Lodge, a 14 minute taxi drive away. Ston Easton Park, Aldwick Court and The Pig near Bath are all venues within an 18 minute drive. We do advise guests to have a car and there is ample secure parking for 10+ cars. Our nearest airport is Bristol International (6.5 miles).
