Breakfast was excellent. Variety of quality ingredients, very well cooked and presented. Hosts were very helpful with local information and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely location and garden.

“Surely the best turned out Potting Shed in England”.... from Alastair Sawday’s book “Go Slow England”. The ‘Potting Shed’ is completely separate to our own 400-year-old family home. As guests you have your own entrance door and key to enable you to come and go as you please. It is a charming, safe and secure, quietly situated double room with modern en-suite. Lovely views over the walled gardens and adjacent 15th century Church. Ideal both for single guests or couples. Facilities in the room include a double bed with white cotton bed linen, towels, free wi-fi, hairdryer and kettle together with a well stocked tea & a coffee tray and organic chilled West Country milk.
