Honeysuckle Homestead is situated in the Wiltshire countryside nine miles west of the Cathedral city of Salisbury. It is adjacent to National Trust land with Philipps House situated within Dinton Park. We are open all year and there is ample car parking The owner Corina Barton will offer you a warm welcome and ensure that every effort is made to make your stay as pleasant and as comfortable as possible. Local Places of interest Wilton House and Gardens - Residence of the 18th Earl of Pembroke, the house has many art treasures. There are beautiful gardens to explore with a large adventure playground. Salisbury Cathedral - The cathedral has the highest spire in Britain and holds an original copy of the Magna Carta. Climb 332 steps through the roof spaces to the foot of the spire, 225 feet above ground level, for breathtaking views. Stonehenge - The world heritage site of Stonehenge houses the most intriguing and remarkable monument in the British Isles providing a mysterious fascination as old as the great temples and pyramids of Egypt. Old Sarum - Originally an Iron Age hill-fort, later occupied by Romans and Saxons and finally Normans who built the castle and cathedral. Classical and Gothic buildings are set against wooded slopes.
