The perfect place to get away from it all, relax, unwind and take in all the breath-taking scenery and nature. The perfect retreat! A cosy cottage on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, making it the perfect base to explore from. Set within the glorious Northumberland countryside, enjoy the stunning views with nature on your doorstep. It is also set within an official ‘dark skies’ area, providing you with endless stargazing opportunities each night.
Hi, my wife Jane and I are proud to welcome you to our beautiful holiday cottage. We hope you will create fabulous memories with your loved ones and friends. We have 3 children and 2 dogs, so we know how important it is to get away and re-charge the batteries and de-stress in the open countryside.
Dipper Cottage is located on the edge of Northumberland National Park, and close to Northumberland’s famous coastline, beaches, castles and attractions. A truly wonderful location with amazing views, an array of wildlife on your doorstep and the soothing sound of flowing streams (or known locally as ‘Burns’ in the North East). The location provides endless flexibility. For those who like to start the day with a run, you have some mesmerizing scenery right at your doorstep. For those who enjoy a challenging walk or trek look no further. There are many popular stretches of water for those who enjoy the art of fishing. If you’re planning an itinerary of days out, the list is endless, from Cragside, Rothbury, Alnwick and Hadrian’s Wall, along with the likes of Bamburgh, Berwick, Craster, Holy Island and Seahouses on Northumberland’s Heritage Coast. You will struggle to improve on this for a break in Northumberland.
