The area offers plenty to keep the keenest of walkers occupied, whether you enjoy a sedate stroll or a full-on hike throughout Snowdonia. Tal-Y Fan is the smallest of peaks and considered to be the beginning of the fourteen peak challenge. Conwy Mountain offers views over the sea to Angelsea and across the mountains of Snowdonia where you can also keep an eye out for the wild ponies. There are also more sedate walks in and around the town along the estuary, beaches, and throughout the Conwy Valley. For some adventure, water lovers will love Surf Snowdonia, and wildlife enthusiasts should pay Conwy RSPB nature reserve a visit (both ten minutes by car). Bodnant Gardens (National Trust) and Bodnant Farm Shop are also just ten minutes away and also as well as plenty of opportunity for adventure with Zip World Fforest, Velocity Quarry Tour and Bounce Below just a few of the adventures you can have within thirty to forty minute drive. The seaside resort of Llandudno is even closer and just fifteen minutes by car offering a day of Victorian seaside fun with its promenade for a stroll, shopping, pier and the magnificent Great Orme.
