Alternatively, if you want to find high street shops, bars and restaurants, we are only 30 minutes to Bournemouth town centre and within 45 minutes to Southampton. Amys Annex is an ideal base for those wanting to explore both the beautiful countryside and well known historic towns. For those that are keen walkers or cyclists, the Annex is located within the forest with direct access to miles and miles of stunning marked out paths and cycle trails. You can walk straight from the Annex into the forest, without having to take your car. If you are keen to walk on the beaches or are into watersports, the nearest beach is Highcliffe and Mudeford Quay. Within 2 miles there are two local villages with villlage shops and excellent pubs! A great place to wake to the sound of birds and see a range of wildlife here!

There are many great pubs and restaurants in all the neighbouring villages and towns. There is only one bus running through the village so you will need to bring a vehicle or push bikes to help you get around.
