This cosy detached property is perfect any time of the year, being just a stones throw from the A39. THE BATHROOM IS ALSO NEWLY RENOVATED. It's within easy reach of RHS Rosemoor, Clovelly, The Tarka Trail, Exmoor and Bude in Cornwall, which is only a 20 mile drive away. There are also many sandy beaches and pebbled coves. The historic market town of Bideford is just 5 miles away where you will find a good selection of pubs, restaurants and shops. PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE BRINGING YOUR DOG PLEASE ENSURE YOU ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING POINTS:- (a) Dogs should not be left alone in the property. (b) Owners of dogs must ensure their pets do not cause a nuisance to neighbours. This includes excessive noise. (c) Any pet faeces must be removed immediately from the garden or outside areas and disposed of safely and hygienically. d) Owners of dogs are responsible for keeping all areas of the property clean and free from parasites, such as fleas and mites. If not the owner of the dog will agree to pay for the professional cleaning of the property at the end of the hire period. (e)The owner of the dog hereby undertakes and agrees to remedy and pay for any damage caused to the property, and/or contents of the property which shall have been caused by the pet residing in the property. For the avoidance of doubt any such damage shall not be deemed to be fair wear and tear. (f)Guests must ensure that dogs are not allowed on any furniture. Hi I am Julie and live on the beautiful North Devon coast. I moved here 24 years ago from Oxfordshire with my three children and have never looked back. The accommodation is very secluded and private and has off road parking. You will also have your own private garden. I also live on the same land so am within easy distance is you need anything. The nearest beach is within walking distance and Westward Ho! is only a 5 minute drive away. We are also right on the A39, and only 20 miles from Bude in Cornwall. Other lovely locations to explore within an hour are Port Isaac, Tintagel, Boscastle, Croyde, Woolacombe, Ilfracombe, Lynton, Lynmouth to name a few. Surfing and water sports are very big here and you can hire wet suits and surf boards from most beaches. We also have the Tarka Trail, where you can ride your bikes for miles without worrying about traffic. Again bikes can be hired from most locations. Always available when needed. Some guests like to socialise some don't so I am happy to do either.

We are a small village in North Devon. There is a beach within walking distance through National Trust property and right near to the local pub, so its good to have a drink on your way back. We are about 5 miles from Bideford and 3 miles drive from Westward Ho! We do have a local bus service in the village, however, it is not as regular as in the towns. A car is necessary. Nearest train station is Barnstaple, 20 mins drive. Here you can get on a train to go to Exeter shopping or to visit the cathedral or both. The train journey is very cheap and takes about an hour. Cheaper and easier than by car as the parking is very expensive in Exeter and obviously the traffic is heavier. The train takes out the stress also.
