Julie very welcoming on arrival and felt could have asked for help if needed. Fun staying in a cave with lovely views and great location. Very close to bike track and boulangerie..perfect for our short stay

A unique, self-contained, Troglodyte stay with sensational views over the Loire. It includes a kitchen, living space and private terrace. Prices include sheets & towels, cleaning, and Wi-Fi. Rochecorbon enjoys the UNESCO World Heritage classification, it is 55 mins away from Paris via TGV, and Tours airport is 10 mins away. We are close to the A10, connecting you easily to the rest of the Loire and France. The Sky Suite is situated near the top of the butte (access by staircase), and the Garden Suite is set into the rock, snuggly hidden within the garden. Both offer seclusion and sensational views. The gites are ideal for two, but can accommodate up to four with a foldout sofa bed (140cm). The Sky Suite has a fully equipped kitchen (full oven, four ring stovetop, dishwasher) and the Garden Suite has a kitchenette (2 ring hotplate, mini-grill), both have a microwave, espresso machine (Tassimo), toaster & kettle, a living space with dining table and lounge area, a bedroom area, a bathroom (the Sky Suite is an ensuite) and a private terrace.
Gregory, who is originally from Tours, and Julie, who hails from New Zealand, are passionate about providing you with a unique stay in these beautiful Gites and hope that you will be just as enthralled by the charm of the location – at the foot of La Lanterne, eye level with the birds, overlooking the mesmerising Loire.
Whether your stay is long or short, there will be something for you to experience and enjoy here in Rochecorbon and the surrounding area. Rochecorbon enjoys the UNESCO World Heritage classification and as such, offers a rich experience of history and the outdoors including cycle trails, walking routes and river experiences. Here in Rochecorbon you can easily experience gastronomy and wine, from eating out in the local restaurants, to visiting the local artisan shops and markets to prepare your own meals, and many local wine caves are within walking distance, offering tours and tastings. Beautiful Tours city is 6km away, Vouvray 3km, Amboise 15km, Le Grand Aquarium de Touraine 20km. From here you can explore the many Loire Valley Castles, heritage sites, vineyards, villages and markets … We have provided brochures and maps, and information and links on our website; also a branch of the Tours tourism office is open throughout the summer season just below us on the Quai.
