We were greeted by a very friendly owner. A nice room with the bonus of having the use of an extra dining room of your own. Bare in mind this room is used to get to the front door so the owners will also walk through very occasionally to go out. The bedroom and bathroom are both private to you so the door can be shut to the dining room. The bed was comfy, UK king size. The bathroom was very modern and spotlessly clean. The apartment is up 2 flights of stairs, fine for us. Everything is close by, restaurants etc. Parking outside was useful, there is a machine and also app to buy a ticket if you have a car, like we did, not expensive as you are not charged after 7 pm, then it starts again next morning so make sure you get your ticket in evening and roll it over until you want to leave in morning, if you are staying one night. Breakfast was very nice, yoghurt, croissants, jams, fruit and coffee.

Marie-Laure and her husband Alain are charming and welcomed us warmly. There is just one double room in this place, it is not a hotel but a private apartment. We had a beautiful room at our disposal with tea, coffee and the table for breakfast as well as the bedroom, shower room and loo. Marie-Laure makes delicious home made yoghourt and compote which made us very happy. You can park right outside and pay with an app. It is very close to the palace and perfectly situated near the market area where there are wonderful restaurants. The market itself is exceptional and we stocked up with delicious meats and cheeses to take home.
