Chalet Cheri is a newly refurbished three bedroom chalet over 2 floors. Downstairs features a open living/dining area, with log burner and a flat screen tv with English channels. It is possible to stream netflix from our wifi if other options were required or you can choose from a large selection of dvd's from which you can select your preferred language.There is a large kitchen space with small utility area and toilet, the luxury master bedroom features ensuite with toilet and shower. The unique spiral staircase feature takes you to the first floor landing. Upstairs you will find, bathroom with roll top bath/hand held shower and toilet and two more double bedrooms. This chalet has a contemporary feel with original French features and furniture throughout. There is an off road gated driveway with ample parking for cars or motorhomes. Opposite, just a stones throw from the Chalet is a beautiful fishing lake and recreational area, ideal for walks and for children and pets to play.
My name is Lisa and after many years of going on holidays all over France I absolutely fell in love with Normandy and decided to buy my own property. I currently live in the UK with children and hope that one day I can move to France permanently. Until this day comes I wanted to let others enjoy my home so it is lived in and loved in my absence. Believe it or not when I bought this property it was a 3 room single story dwelling. It has been a labour of love to get "Chalet Cheri" to this point. I really hope my love and passion shows if you choose to come and stay! I would love to hear any feedback from my guests.
This property is a 5-10 minute walk from the square (Fougerolles du Plessis) where you will find most basic amenities such as a local bakery, bar, pharmacy/medical centre, supermarket, bank and restaurant (you may even spot a certain Hairy Biker if you're lucky!) Fougerolles du Plessis is a quiet, self contained village, deep in the countryside. However, if you fancy going to some famous landmarks such as, Le Mont-Saint-Michel, St Malo, Huisnes-sur-Mer and many more they are all vary from a 30-60 minute drive away. My top tip would be to visit the local towns of Fougeres or Domfont which are both full of history, shops and many restaurants!
