Hey, I'm is Patrick. I am the owner of dreamcation Apartments in Kelheim and love to travel around the world. That's why I value good hospitality and, thanks to the experience I've gained, I want to offer you a great stay in one of my accommodations. At the beginning of 2018 I decided to quit my boring job and seek adventure with a work and travel in Australia for a year. It was a life changing journey for me. Getting to know new countries, people and cultures is now one of my biggest hobbies. And whenever my wallet and time allow, I'm on the road. When I'm not travelling, I live and work in the world heritage city of Regensburg and also run this beautiful church with 3 holiday apartments in Kelheim. I love furnishing rooms, creating a cozy atmosphere with color combinations. My guests should feel at home and be able to put their feet up. With this in mind, I hope to welcome you as my guest soon and I look forward to getting to know you and your loved ones.

☆Welcome to dreamcation Apartments in Kelheim!☆ You get 2 fully equipped apartments here, the former converted church and the basement apartment. ★3D tour in advance★ Known from TV like Bild, RTL etc. → 310m² in size → Up to 16 people → Heating + wood stove in church → 2 terraces with barbecue → 5 bedrooms, 2 fully equipped new kitchens → Dining area in church for 18 persons → High-speed WiFi, Smart TV, Netflix, → Teufel sound system → Shopping markets, restaurants around the corner Please also have a look at my other accommodations in this house with church. It is also possible to book the entire property for events. Feel free to contact me with your wishes. This former evangelical church from the 1960s, designed by star architect Olaf Andreas Gulbransson, has a very special charm. Reduced to the essentials, it is an absolute eye-catcher with its simple altar, in the background the beautiful windows, which allow an incredible play of colors in the evening light, the still functioning organ and the round pointed roof with a star-shaped window in the middle. Just lovely.

Neighbourhood information

The significantly larger Catholic St. Pius Church is 200m away from the former St. Luke's Church, where you stay. In the distance in the direction of Kelheim's old town, the memorial of the Liberation Hall can be clearly seen. The rotunda of the Lukaskirche was specially adapted to the round shape of the Liberation Hall by the architect and was designed in this way. Furthermore, the Weltenburg monastery with the adjacent Danube Gorge can be reached in 15 minutes by car. Hiking routes start in Kelheim. The picturesque Altmühl valley begins right next to Kelheim with its castles, palaces, mountains and valleys worth seeing, as well as rocks and Roman testimonies and, of course, the Altmühl river that gives it its name. The Danube is also just around the corner and with its cycle paths and natural monuments such as the UNESCO World Heritage Site Danube Limes, it also creates correspondingly beautiful landscapes. Last but not least, my hometown of Regensburg is of course always worth a trip. I'm happy to give you tips.
