OUR PERSONAL HOME IS NEWLY LISTED. We are a well travelled couple living both in Townsville on the Strand and this home at Horseshoe Bay . We have extensive local knowledge (LIVING ON THE ISLAND FOR OVER 40 YEARS) which extends to many parts of Australia and overseas. We are both hospitality trained. Please ask if you require any further information as we are only too happy to assist in any way we can. ENJOY OUR HOME AS YOUR PIECE OF PARADISE IN OUR PARADISE WHICH IS MAGNETIC ISLAND. Our 2 bedroom (2 queen beds) 2 bathroom home is ideal for the either singles or couples. Sorry no children allowed. Small pets are allowed on application only. Your Horseshoe Bay home will provide you with the comforts of an architected designed home especially designed for its location and outdoor living spaces. This Home Away From Home offers all you will need for a wonderful Island Holiday. This home comfortably sleeps 4 guests. Your Horseshoe Bay home will provide you with the comforts of an architected designed home especially designed for its location and outdoor living spaces. This Home Away From Home offers all you will need for a wonderful Island Holiday. This home comfortably sleeps 4 guests. The open planned living areas seamlessly meets the timber deck that will bring the outside in. The fully equipped kitchen also is enhanced by this fantastic design of openness. The very private, in ground pool and surrounding area is fantastic. Shade is offered by 2 separate living areas so grab wine, a book and settle into a lounge and just let time pass you by. You will learn to understand and appreciate "Island time". Throw away that watch and phone. The garden offers a vast selection of tropical plants too numerous to mention. There is a definite Balinese influence throughout this tropical paradise which is now your home. Basically lay back and enjoy! Neighbourhood information

Transport to Magnetic Island: There is a car/passenger ferry or a separate walk-on passenger ferry terminal in Townsville both going direct to Nelly Bay and return. Guests should note that they can come to the Island by Sea link Passenger Ferry which takes 25 minutes or by Magnetic Island car Barge which takes 50 minutes. Please note that tourist buses link up with Sea link ferries. Golfers can enjoy our 9 hole course or frequent one of the 32 separate beaches. There are several restaurants just 200M from our home. Snorkelling is very popular on the Island and equipment is economical and easily hired. Bush walkers will delight in the many well maintained tracks that traverse the national park which covers most of the Island. The local buses meet all ferries. Island Transport Either you want to hop on a bicycle and explore the island, hire a car for a special event or just for a great adventure, there are a few options for getting around Magnetic Island: Walking You can choose from a variety of walking tracks and bushwalks which include sweeping vistas of the Coral Sea and a great selection flora and fauna. Bus & Taxi's are available on The Island. Our vechile is free for guests.
