An indoor play area is also available at the holiday home, while guests can also relax in the garden. We loved Turtle Cottage! Our highlight was to find two koalas in the tree in front of the house. The house itself is spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen fully equipped. There's also a big pattio in the garden, where we could relax and eat in the shade. We loved waking up to the sound of birds. It's just a short walk to Picnic Bay beach, which has a stinger net. This is also where the bus stops, so it's easy to travel to Nelly Bay or other parts of the island. The owners are very lovely and helpful.

Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the holiday home free of charge. The property is non-smoking and is set 400 metres from Nelly Bay Beach. The place was so clean! It felt so fancy and absolutely loved the plunge pool which also had a TV and mini fridge down stairs with it. The staff were so welcoming but also just gave us our space. Location was perfect, easy walk to restaurants and clothes shops, bottle shops and the beach. Close to the ferry terminal and bus stops to be able to access the whole island. The beds were comfortable! There were really no negatives, I can't wait to stay again!

I have not stayed at Picnic Bay on Magnetic Island before & so after this experience, I will certainly go back to that part of the island. OK. Moreover Roxanne was terrific host. Provided you have a car or bike, then the position is terrific.
