Fantastic location in the midst of the Pillersee ski area, with gorgeous mountain views, this spacious luxury fully furnished 4 bedroom chalet sleeps 8 people. The chalet has a sauna to unwind after a days skiing or hiking. It is located just 20 minutes from the popular snow sure Steinplatte ski area with it's huge range of activities. The Buchensteinwand ski area, ideal for children and beginners with 5 ski lifts is just 5 minutes away. The ski bus that provides free transport for skiers, has a bus stop right outside. Cross country skiing is virtually outside the front door. The ski-lifts operate all summer, so you can take the chairlift to the top of the mountain, and take a leisurely walk down! In the photographs above, the one showing the horses in summer is the view from the rear of the house. The next photo is the same view in winter - the bumps in the snow are the tops of the fence posts! The horses in winter photograph shows new arrivals at the riding school next door.
Gnd floor: Kitchen & breakfast area, with fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and dishwasher. All crockery and utensils included. Lounge with wood burning stove, dining area, satellite TV, wi-fi Internet, wi-fi speakers. One double bedroom. Luxury bathroom with multi-point power shower, bath and wc. 1st floor: Two double bedrooms with balcony, one large twin (two single beds) room with basin and balcony, bathroom with vanity unit, bath and wc, a separate wc, and shower room with multi-point power shower. Dedicated workspace for laptop. Basement: Sauna room with wood store, shower, laundry room with washing machine & dryer. Storage for skis etc. Ski boots and sticks are available in the basement free of charge.
There is swimming and boating on the nearby Pillersee lake and an indoor swimming pool in the village centre. All-year round tobogganing is available and the chalet is situated right next door to the Strasserwirt International Riding School, that not only provides riding lessons but also horse-drawn carriage rides in the area. Cycle riding around the lake is also very popular and there are several bike hire outlets available. Zardini's Schindldorf is probably the best Apres ski bar in Austria! There are many first-class restaurants in the area, Kitzbuhel is just 20 minutes drive away for excellent shopping as is Salzburg.
