Once again, the volunteers were great, the hostel was lovely and well equipped, and the central location meant that anything in tromsø or the wider area was easily accessible. Go to this hostel as a solo traveller to meet new people in a great, social environment.

Good price-quality. Don't expect anything fancy and the rooms are rather small. But it is definitely one of the cheapest accommodations in the center of Tromso on a great location. The people are friendly and we were able to check in a bit earlier. There is a big parking garage and supermarket across the street.
Very nice hostel, well equipped and squeaky clean. Everything was available, in the room we had snacks prepared for our arrival as well as water. Great location, comfortable and quiet
This hostel is just ok, it was fine for 1 night. It was one of the cheapest options in town but we still felt it was a little overpriced. I think it was a busy time of year so prices might have been higher than usual. We had a private room which was was spacious and clean. The staff was very nice. Theres a grocery store across the street which is convenient and the hostel is also in a good location.
Cheap for Tromso at this time of year (relative is the key here !!) and great location.
Great location and hostel, good social vibe and Robin’s northern lights tour was fantastic, I would absolutely stay again! Good price for Tromsø. Need your own padlock for storage lockers and the rooms don’t have a lock (only the door to the outside which is locked at night) but as a solo female I felt very safe. Standard hostel in terms of beds/rooms, nothing fancy but everything you need.

This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The owner is amazing, the vibes, kindness, friendliness and all the times and anecdotes you can share with the volunteers make it unique. There is a sense of belonging and community that I have never felt anywhere else... and I have travelled all over the world. It’s not about the design or infrastructure, it’s about the soul this hostel has and that’s the hardest thing to find. The highlight and spirit of the place is Burger, the best, cutest and friendliest dog you will ever find.
Convenient hostel on a centrally located road near the harbourfront without too much traffic. The room rate isn't cheap for sharing in a two-bunk dormitory room but this option still eases the pain of Tromso's otherwise consistently expensive accommodation. The shared kitchen was quite well stocked with utensils and the fridge and storage cupboards spacious. Coco has a pleasant atmosphere and 24 hrs access by front-door code.
