Hamar
The hostel is located along the road E6, 3 km outside Hamar and 120 km north of Oslo. The neighbouring Vikingskipet Arena was a 1994 Winter Olympics venue. Today, it hosts various sports, concerts and exhibitions. Very good breakfast, great staff, very helpful and friendly.
Lillehammer
Set in Lillehammer and within 1.2 km of Maihaugen, Lillehammer Stasjonen Hostel has a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. The property is around 1.5 km from Norwegian Olympic Museum, 8 km from High Ropes Course and 16 km from Lillehammer Olympic Bob- and Lugetrack. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, and luggage storage for guests. The design of the room was cozy and comfortable with everything I needed. The staff were very nice and helpful. The location is great, it took me a while to figure out that it is inside the train station - but it was super comfortable to come and go and travel in the city just by walking (I came on a Christian Holyday so there was no public transportation in town). And it also looks very beautiful from the outside.
Otta
Sjoa Hostel & Guesthouse is less than a 1-hour drive from Rondeslottet Mountain and the Besseggen mountain ridge, which are popular hiking destinations. The guesthouse arranges rafting in River Sjoa, riverboarding and canyoning. Beautiful location and fantastic staff!

Surrounded by nature and views of the Snøhetta Mountain, this hostel is 30 km from central Dombås. It offers free Wi-Fi, along with a communal kitchen, dining room and fireplace TV lounge.
Just 3 km away is a lookout point for Snøhetta Mountain, while the Hjerkinn Train and Bus Station is 200 metres from the hostel. Fishing and hiking in the Dovre mountain range are common area activities.
Bathroom was amazing and the room itself was simple but clean. Management and staff were really helpful and even went the extra mile to pick me up when I got lost. Definitely worth the price I paid

Great location, a few km from Dombas between the mountains. Very peaceful at night. The rooms are big and the bed was nice.

GREAT LOCATION I HAD A 1 BED APARTMENT, HAD EVERYTHING I NEEDED AND WAS CHEAP
Fairly basic hostel accommodation with bunk beds. You have to put the bedding on yourself and the bathroom is shared. But the place is super clean, with friendly staff, a great breakfast (included in the price) and fantastic views from the breakfast balcony, where you can also chill with a drink in the evening. Outstanding value for money in an expensive country, and an ideal stopover if you're on the long drive south towards Oslo or Torp airports.
The best hostel in Norway. Perfect location, no noise disturbance from bus / train, delicious food for breakfast and also at the restaurant for dinner, incredibly kind and helpful staff, super comfy beds and hot showers. I wish I could have stayed longer.
