HI Bergen Hostel Montana is situated up the hillside of Mount Ulriken, about 3.6 km from Bergen City Centre and easily accessed by public transportation. A grocery store and different hiking trails are located next to the hostel. Free parking is available for our guests. The location was very beautiful! The view over the city was stunning and you were on hiking trails through the forest within like one minute. The staff was amazing: very friendly, kind and helpfull. The volunteers made sure you would feel at home. The free coffee hour was a perfect way to meet other travelers staying at the hostel and the activities that were organized were amazing! The breakfast was good with plenty of vegan options! I could have stayed there for a long time and hope I can come back one day!

Located only 250 metres from Bergen Station, City Hostel Bergen provides basic hostel accommodation with free Wi-Fi and a shared kitchen. Bergen’s famous Fish Market is a 5-minute walk away.
City Hostel Bergen provides modern and bright rooms featuring wooden floors, lockable wardrobes and a writing desk. Bathroom facilities are either private or shared.
The staff is very kindly and the location is prefer.

Fabryka is attractively located in Bergen, and has a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace. The property is close to several well-known attractions, 1.2 km from University Museum of Bergen, 400 metres from The Leprosy Museum and 300 metres from Hanseatic Museum. The property is non-smoking and is situated 1.8 km from Møhlenpris Badeplass Beach.
At the hostel, every room has a wardrobe. Rooms are equipped with a shared bathroom fitted with a shower, while some rooms have a kitchenette. At Fabryka the rooms have bed linen and towels.
Very conveniently located in the city area, short walk to the tram, bus stop, Bryggen, Fish Market, Fløibanen, ... Highly recommended this place.
First time staying in a hostel and I was pleasantly surpised. Great location, friendly staff and amazing value for money. Was really impressed with the fully equipped kitchen and living room!
Bergen hostel was a good walk from main location areas. The bunk beds were comfortable and staff accommodating.
Hostel is in a great place super close to Bergen city center and hiking trails were easy to get to! Bergen is the perfect city if you want easy access to nature. Norway is a safe country anyway but as a solo female traveller I felt comfortable returning late. Staff are super helpful and facilities were always clean.
I liked everything, it’s the best hostel I’ve been to, it has a view of the whole city. All of Bergen is visible. I advise

Spacious place and great location with supermarket a few steps away. The apartment faces the mountain so we get a beautiful view every day as we have our meals. Very comfortable and we felt safe throughout the stay.
Amazing facilities - great kitchen, the best hostel breakfast I’ve ever had and it was included in the price! comfy beds and very clean facilities, staff were also super friendly and helpful! great location for hikes and overall great value for money
This hostel is perfectly located, in the centre of Bergen. The staff is really nice and welcoming, the common areas were clean, the kitchen and dining room really spacious. There are lockers in each dormitory, and a free locked storage room. Everything was perfect, this hostel is very safe and calm, excellent place to discover Bergen !
The hostel is walking distance from Bergen centre and easy to find. Check in was easy enough and receptionist was polite and friendly. The room was a standard 10 person hostel room, lockable lockers were provided and each bed had a little light and plug socket. Toilets and showers were acceptable but nothing special. For the price it was decent enough but nothing special. 7/10 would stay again if needed cheap stay in Bergen.
Access to the kitchen, delicious breakfast, cheap price, nice staff, good location (easy to reach by bus from city centre, close to Ulriken mountian), shop in the neighborhood. There are also some activities in living room to meet new people (etc. karaoke). We were satisfied with our stay in this hostel :)
