The private room we had was super cute and had a little upper cove area with a tv. They also give plenty of towels and our one night in hakuba was very pleasantly spent in this house. It is also walking distance to downtown hakuba! The toilets and showers are very clean. The owner fixed up the house himself and it’s so cute and charming.

It's not very big, but it has everything a person needs to be perfectly comfortable. Free coffee and tea in the morning and you get a map of the area with all the good eating spots and tourism spots. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, too!

Very kind people all around, staff was very helpful and I felt right at home. Firsr time sleeping on a Futon, and although I was apprehensive at first, it was great for sleeping. Would go there again in a heartbeat If I am in the area again.
