Very cozy rustic feel mixed with a traditional Japanese house. The staff were very welcoming, inviting and thoughtful. They gave me great advice as to recommendations and where to go to continue my journey for the Nakasendo Trail. Location is fantastic to continue your journey on the trail whether you're heading towards Kyoto or Tokyo. They have an alcohol menu as well to help you enjoy the local sake which is very reasonably priced!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Nice quiet location and plenty of food options nearby. Only 14 minutes from Suzaka station and around 2 hours from the monkey park. The common area is sunny and confortable. The kitchen is well equiped. The bathrooms are clean. The beds were confortable. We had great visit recommendations from the owner ; we should have asked for recs before booking anything! Would definitely come again!
