Surrounded by vineyards, this modern student residence is located directly on the campus of the Danube University and the University of Applied Sciences, a 15-minute walk from the Old Town of Krems. Free WiFi is available. Everything was clean, perfect location, a huge plus also is that you can check-in whenever you want no matter the time. A small but sufficient breakfast, nice personnel.

Active guests will enjoy the nearby Donauradweg Bicycle Trail, 1.2 km from the hostel. There is an outdoor swimming pool just 5 minutes away on foot, and 25 minutes away, there is a sports centre complete with tennis and squash courts, a gym, and a sauna. Very helpful staff. Nice, clean and comfortable rooms. Good location. We could store luggage and use the washrooms after reaching several hours before the check-in as well as a few hours after the checkout. We can recommend without any hesitation.

The room was spotless, with clean bed sheets, and a floor you could lick off, the bathroom had 2 types of ventilation and budget-friendly toiletries. Breakfast was decent, although the orange juice was heavily watered and the strawberries were rotten, but I think it would be too much to expect good strawberries in December, after all, we ate nicely. There was also a huge TV, Overall, it's great and I'll return there next time I need to sleep on my way to Germany.

This is a nice youth hostel ideal for cyclists going along the Danube. There was a great continental breakfast included. Located on the edge of town but quiet and not too far to walk.
