The location is amazing amidst an raw Austrian
village. Additionally the train and bus station is pretty close, several restaurants around makes it easier as well. And i must say about the owner! He is amazing! He literally explained us how we could plan the trip around hallstatt and make 100% of it! Definitely recommended!

Located at the foot of the Dachstein Mountain, Jutel Obertraun is 4 km from Lake Hallstatt. A ski bus stops in front of the property and provides good connections to the ski areas Dachstein West and Gosau-Rußbach-Annaberg. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Upon arrival it seemed like there was some confusion in terms of the booking. Regardless of that, they proceeded to check us in.

Wonderful venue, service and facilities. Great location
Great location - wonderful to have just a short walk to the fenicular railway, the town. & lake…so doing it several times a day was easy. The walk away from the lake, following the mountain stress as m to the cascades & waterfalls was even better! Friendly host. Nicely equipped. Good size bedrooms. Lovely little snug on the top floor apartment for breakfast & dinner.

Great host, helpful, friendly and going the extra mile to help and give suggestions. Free coffee in the morning was a great, generous bonus. I couldn't be any happier. Great location, not touristy but at the same time close to Hallstatt and Dachstein.
Apartment was at the great location. Roshni is a very nice person and a host, she helped us by allowing us to keep our bags in main Apartment till our room was available and also helped me to get my phone charging done and gave us juices as well. Apartment is at the excellent location and is beautiful, would highly recommend this apartment for stay.
Bad Goisern is not a big town but the atmosphere in this hostel was great. Good facilities, big kitchen with lots of cooking utensils, free tea and coffee. Toilets were clean and probably newly refurbished. There are restaurants near the hostel if you don't want to cook on your own. Bad Goisern itself is located near Bad Ischl and not too far from Hallstatt if you want a cheaper stay.
Located right across the public beach. Breakfast buffet is fine (you can't expect hotel level from a youth hostel). Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Clean and nice room and bathroom. Room was just big enough and it had balcony. There is enough space in the room for clothes and modern tv and a safe. There is also an elevator and a machine for coffee and snacks. Great location in this idyllic place in the city center just a 3 minutes walk to the Marktplatz. They have a classic breakfast, everyone finds something to eat and a fresh bread, good coffee.
Great location, close to the Salt Mine and the cable car! Within 2 minutes from the lake and the boat station and the town centre. Good breakfast, great rooms, squeaky clean, TV and satisfying, reliable, free broadband. Free, safe parking on the premises.
Best hostel I've ever been to. The best hosts also and we love their dog so much (spykee❤️). Location was the best, just near Hallstatt and also the town itself is amazing (Bad Goisern).
