At LA CASA (the house) you will feel at EL HOGAR ( at home ). Mr Woo is an excellent host. I stayed for 6 days at the shared dormitory, 4 persons with one bath/shower. Relation quality-price is good for backpackers or solo travellers. The house is nice. You get basic breakfast and twice a week Mr Woo offers complimentary dinner for their guests to get acquiant. The house is in a quite neighbourhood, with tuktuks, shops and laundry nearby. In walking distance to Luang Prabang old town.. Can you expect more for the price you are paying.?

I stayed here many nights and I’m glad I chose here. The no curfew for the aircon is great and staff were able to help me with fresh towels and a bed change halfway through. In a good location too. Free breakfast and water is great. A little fan in the beds is a nice touch and the locker spaces are very spacious.

Decent hot shower and the curtain on the bed provided some privacy. It's close to the night market only 7 minutes walk. Breakfast was decent you can choose pancakes or eggs, coffee was instant package coffee. About 15 minutes walk to centre of town (Sisavangvong Rd).

This is a great hostel to stay. Dorm bed very very comfortable. Nice hot shower. Great price per night. Puoy is very friendly and helpful. Lannoy works in the restaurant and she is very sweet and friendly. Good food at good prices. A nice quiet location and near the night market. Luang Prabang is very nice place.

Great location. It's not far from Wat Xiengthong in one direction and the night market in the other direction. I recommend renting a bike from the hostel for a very reasonable price. They also offers shared taxis to the bus and train stations, and long haul transport bookings to Nong Khiaw, Vientiane, Vang Vieng, Hanoi and many other destinations. Just tell the counter one day in advance.
This is hands downs the best hostel I have stayed at during my one-year-trip around Southeast Asia. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the breakfast served every morning is pretty good, the showers are great and the beds are comfortable. Also, great location, you have everything you need around it.
Best Hostel I could wish for. The staff our sooooo wonderful, they helped with so much. The beds are clean and comfortable, couldn’t want better. Our sink broke as well and they came and fixed it within the hour. Honestly such nice people and a great location. I already booked to come back.
It is a typical youth hostel with bed in shared dorms. Good atmosphere with backpackers but without noise problem, all quite respectful. Overall quite satisfied if you do not mind to share all, but probably a bit expensive.

Great location, friendly & fun owner. The beds are comfortable, Ac and fan in room. Big area to relax up and downstairs. Free drinking water, 50m to the Mekong.
It's Old name is Friendly Hostel, it's 10m away from Downtown Backpackers 2, the dot is not 100%right on the booking map. But very close.
