- the staff is extremely nice and helpful - the building is very pretty - it was mostly very clean - the rooftop was nice for yoga or a workout (but not really for chilling since there was almost no furniture)

Featuring a garden, shared lounge, terrace and free WiFi, Klong House is located in Bangkok, 700 metres from Khao San Road and 1.3 km from Bangkok National Museum.

The accomodation is simple but it has everything you need. The host is super lovely and nice. We only stayed there one night and had to leave early, but she has left a lasting impression with her sweet personality. She even got up at 4am to make us coffee to go (for free). The location is perfect as it is super close to Khao San Road but in a quiet alley at a small river.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful. We are very familiar with Bangkok but for newcomers there is a wealth of helpful information provided at the hostel.. Ideal for backpackers and others on a modest budget. The location is very close.to Bang Chak bts on the Sukhumvit line. Highly recommend.

Great location, short walk to nana plaza and all that area has to offer but also quite at night, 7/11 right at the front door, close to public transport and shops. Good room, enough for 3 people so would suit family's on a budget just the street to walk down might not be the best late at night, but perfectly safe. Staff very friendly also, mother an daughter work on the front desk

Great location. 7-11 is so close. There are so many food vendors , coffee shops, and massage places nearby. Pad thai nooodel ans fried rice shop next to the hotel is very nice and so cheap. Emsphere mall is only 3 mins walk. Not too far to BTS station. The room is nice and spacious. Bed is a bit hard but good to sleep. Very nice pillows. The area is safe to walk around for solo woman traveller day and night.

Good location, walkable from Makkasan airport rail link station or easy to get a taxi there. Close to night markets and few 7Eleven shops. Very friendly and helpful staff. In female dormitory the bathroom with toilet is directly in the room, so it is convenient and no need to go to other floors, the sink is on the balcony. Bed is hard but comfy, with your own shelf, light and socket, as well as curtains for privacy and light blocking. The hostel is comfortable and safe, in a quiet street, wifi works well. Would stay again!

The location is ideal for exploring Bangkok, especially if you're travelling on a budget and just want somewhere safe to stay at night, get a good sleep and freshen up but want a break from hostels. The staff were friendly and there's a bar and restaurant attached.

Great location and big, clean room with excellent wi fi. It's opposite a lovely park and near transport links. We took airport train from Suvarnabhumi to Phaya Thai and its a 20 minute walk We left on an air con airport bus for Don Muang from Victory Monument, very easy, quick and cheap. Lots of street food nearby and proper Thai neighbourhood feel. Owner was friendly and hostel felt safe.

This was our first stay in Thailand and we were delighted with our room and the facilities. Being a hostel and such good price we didn’t expect much but the room was so lovely, clean and comfortable. Small bathroom but no different to most budget hostels/hotels. It was in a great location, 5 min walk to Kao San road and other attractions but far away enough so that it’s quiet at night. Great little restaurant at the start of the alley to the hostel called KC Homestay, delicious and cheap food.
