Ostello AMDG, hotel in Venice

A few steps from the Fondamente Nove A water bus stop, Ostello AMDG offers accommodation in Venice. Guests can easily walk to Rialto Bridge, located 850 metres away.

The location. Very convenient for the water bus to and from airport. Perhaps the Ostello could emphasise this with advice on what line to take (we took the wrong one!). Beautiful church next door - make the most of it. Local cafes and shops. No need to go to St Marks. It’s all here!!

Walkable from Venice Mestre station. Toilet and shower are separate. I never waited in queue during my stay. There are additional toilets in ground floor. Best part was the breakfast spread. Really nice budget option. Super comfortable beds! A lot of young people. I have been there during low session, so hostel didn't offer any special food or events but I have seen that they have. In the area are many nice and cheap local restaurants!

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is a bit out of the way, but easy enough to get to and much cheaper than staying on the main island. I felt safe in and around the hostel as a solo female traveller. The staff that checked me in were incredibly kind and helpful, although the staff on reception/bar the following morning were noticeably less so.

Really great location right next to the water and 15mins walk from Piazzale Roma where the buses come. Host was very friendly and accommodating and gave great advice on where to eat, sights to see etc. The shared room was very comfortable and one of the best hostel stays in my experience. Also the sunsets on the harbourside directly outside the house were amazing each day.
