Within 5 minutes’ walk of the train station and lively city centre, Central Backpackers offers hostel accommodation with free WiFi, 24-hour access and a convenient location. The hostel has its own bar and rooftop terrace, and offers luggage storage and laundry services.

I loved the atmosphere and the general facilities. They were more than I could have asked for and made my stay in Oxford very pleasant. The showers were also cleaned after each visit and the general hygiene and cleanliness was above and beyond.

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Great location for walking into Oxford and The Bullingdon ( where grandson was performing). Fantastic having parking. Everything pretty basic - but a clean room and bed, with parking, in convenient location - for a cheap price!

We had 2 rooms for one night, I usually choose a chain hotel but the Remont Oxford Hotel ticked more boxes at a cheaper price. Our rooms were spotlessly clean, lovely cotton bedding, comfy bed, quality tea bags, biscuits and toiletries and very quiet! The buffet breakfast was exceptional. We appreciated the safe, free parking and the location with bus stops to and from the city centre close by. Would definitely stay there again.

The apartment was as described, great location, quiet and we felt safe in the area. It was very clean, warm and suitable for our 2 night stay. It was easy to find from the directions given by the owners, the directions to get into the apartment were very clear, easy to follow and it was within easy walking distance to the centre of Oxford.

The staff was very friendly, the beds were comfy and great value for the price. It is nice that the hostel has lots of options for the rooms, like female-only dormitory.
