    You wouldn’t tell from the outside, but a superbly renovated and equipped property which is in a great location for the town. Well equipped kitchen and great to be provided with coffee pods (although the type of machine means these couldn’t be purchased if you needed some - Vertuo)

    It was clean, welcoming and really central. Super easy check-in in the hotel across the square. Then you had a key code to get into the hostel which gave a great deal of independence as you didn’t have to walk past reception staff when coming and going. Wonderful views over the old university. Towels, toiletries and cleaning service provided daily. Air con worked a treat. Clean and functional en-suite.

    Great location for the old town - only a 10 minute walk. It was everything we needed for a one night stopover on our way north. We would certainly use the hotel again when travelling to or from Bilbao.
