The hostel had great facilities: a swimming pool of a decent size, a big dining room with an open space kitchen, and a great communal/co-working area right above the kitchen. They also have an on-site restaurant which served great food, I had a salad and it was super delicious. The hostel itself is very green and well integrated with nature which creates an amazing ambiance.
Located in Manuel Antonio, on the way to the beach (1.5 km from the town of Quepos). Hostel Plinio offers an outdoor pool, shared kitchen, lounge areas, game room, restaurant and free WiFi.

Excellent choice to live in the area, very neat a spacious (2-bedroom house). A bit far from the center so you need a car to get there, but it is surrounded by forest, so we saw iguanas, howling monkeys and scarlet aras from there.

The location of this hostel is perfect, it’s right by the beach and the entrance to the National Park. The breakfast was really good too
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Miguel and his family are yery kind and help you with everything you need. The Hostel is made very naturally and gives you the nicest vibes in El Cocal.
I definetly recommend you to do some Surfing lessons with Miguel. He really take time for the lesson and explains from the beginning to the end how to get things done. Even if you are a beginner.

Fantastic hostel. Great facilities. Kitchen is large, pool and garden area is lovely. Staff very nice and helped us organise tours and transport. Room was very comfortable for a family of 4. Great location in town. We were lucky to see macaws in the hostel garden.
I liked the location, very close to the bus stop, very closed to the restaurants. The pool was really nice surrounded by flowers and coconut trees. It was quieter than staying along the road towards Manuel Antonio Park. I will recommand to stay there while vising the Manuel Antonio park as there are buses departing close to the hostel, and you will sleep better, and be able to go to cheaper supermarkets or restaurants.
Nice pool in a from the street closed area. Location is easy to bus station, beach promenade and supermarkets, restaurants etc. The kitchen is well equipped and in general the hostel has a cozy backpacker atmosphere. Free coffee and tea all day.
the pool was clean and refreshing. the room was clean and the facilities as well. the place was quiet and I felt very safe and the staff very ncie and helpful. free coffee was nice to have :) the hostel was near shops, bakeries and restaurant and very near to the bus station as well as the ocean, well located.
This is a very comfortable and affordable Hostel. The air conditioning in the rooms works great. The kitchen is great and the shared bathroom is big. Everywhere was very clean and tidy.
It’s also in a great location - Right in the middle of Quepos.
Everything. It's the best hostel ever directly located at the beach. You don't only have sand but also grass surfaces which is really nice as well. The best thing is the jungle shower.
Absolutely loved this hostel! Kitchen was well equipped and lots of areas to relax. Felt very secure and safe. More of a family getaway than a hostel vibe which we didn’t mind.
