We even had tea sessions with the hosts and they let us try the different kinds of tea leaves which they grow themselves. We were there during winter and the heated toilet seat was just superb 😊. The beds were very comfortable too. There is a heated water dispenser at the accom so we do not need to buy or boil water.

Their personal house next to the guest house is over 100 years old. Only a few minutes drive from Shizhou where there are convenience stores and some great places to eat. The hosts will graciously drop you into town if you ask. About 40 minutes drive to Alishan. The hosts will help you get to public transport, although we drove. Make sure you ask the hosts to try their tea. Be aware the hosts have limited English but use Google Translate very well!
