The view is stunning. The breakfast was delicious and well served with many fresh fruits and variety of cheese. The garden was with pool. The room was very comfy and clean. Self check in was possible. The staff was very kind.

Everything was very clean and the owners were so nice. The kitchen was a great place for cooking with all the utilities and even provided some fresh food everyday. We had a really great experience staying here.

It is located 26 km from Santana's traditional houses and features a shared kitchen. The homestay offers sea views and a sun terrace. everything was perfect, the wonderful hosts, Antonio&Jorge pleasantly surprised us, they provided us with useful information, vegetables, bread, fruit and fresh eggs for breakfast...everything was beyond expectations, we will definitely come back

In good weather, guests are welcome to sit outside. The owner was very nice and friendly. The view was stunning. I definitely recommend it.

We could leave our luggage in the morning before check in and in the afternoon after check out without any problem, the guy who attended us was very nice and friendly. The building is very well located in the centre of Funchal and the price was perfect for this accommodation and the time of the year.

Catia is great host and her house is the place where you want to return as soon as possible.

Set in Câmara de Lobos, 700 metres from Vigário Beach, Casa da Cal - by Casas na Ilha offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The property has sea and pool views, and is 1.3 km from Formosa Beach. The guest house features family rooms. Honestly at first, I was a bit taken aback that there is no staff on site and that it was more of a house/Airbnb type than a hotel. However, it turned out to be AMAZING. I made this purchase DAY OF because of a very stressful last minute change to my trip, and this place was just what I needed to unwind and relax. Everything was super clean, and safe, and the facilities were just wonderful. I also talked with the cleaning lady the next day and she was super sweet. There were mango trees dropping fruit on the property, and all in all it was just magical. Free protected parking and everything. I felt completely safe there. There’s also a grocery store like a 5 min walk away if you want to go pick things up to cook (as well as many eateries).
