The room was clean, and the water pressure in the shower was good. There is a refrigerator near the lobby you can use to keep your beverage cool. The room itself really has everything you need, since you will probably not spend a lot of time there, but rather explore the island or go to the beach. The owner and his wife are friendly and hospitable, and the employees are also friendly, just as they typically are in the Philippines. If anything, try to get a room at the back of the hotel, so that you will get less noise from the street outside.

He gave us really good restaurant recommandations, brought us surfing, and even helped us bring our bags to our next hotel. Even though we were transfering to another hotel for our last days on the island (because we wanted to try more than one place), he told us not to hesistate to message him if we ever had any problem. I definitly recommand staying at Mantaray ! We wish we stayed there longer.

The facilities are basic but with everything you need and always clean. Thank you so much for this amazing stay guys!

Subangan is a nice homestay to stay in your trip to the north of the island. Rooms are spacious and clean. The best thing is the lady that runs it; I left an important thing there and she made the impossible to give it to me before I was leaving the island. Highly recommend!
