I'm rating this hostel higher because no other competition is available. It's close to the beach, there are good local restaurants and you can rent a scooter etc. This hostel could be one of the best in Siargao. I tried different hostel around cloud 9, not impressed.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel, it is quite new and everything cleaned daily - also the towels are a nice touch. You can see that Paco is finishing up things with the latest improvements, but he has the needs of the travelers in mind. There is a hot shower also, kitchen, AC, curtains for privacy. I appreciated that Cy was also eager to help with everything I needed, there are also family dinners, poker nights, etc, but honestly even though there is no event in an evening there are always people hanging out in the common area therefore it’s very easy to socialize and meet new travelers. Also, don’t hesitate to ask Cy if you need any recommendations for surfing, places to eat, shared van to the airport, anything - he will help you.

The hostel offers an outdoor swimming pool, indoor pool, nightclub and a shared kitchen. One of the most beautiful hostels I’ve stayed in. The bathroom facilities were some of the best I had anywhere in the Philippines. The dorms close with a sliding door making it feel very private. Everything was clean. In the evening there were fun events. The staff is super friendly and the food was delicious. Can definitely recommend this hostel!

Guest rooms feature bed linen. Great value for money, good location right in town. The guys that run the place are really friendly and the showers and toilets are kept super clean.

Perfect hostel for meeting people. They have activities everyday, you can book your tours directly with them and they have a restaurant that serves good food (not exactly cheap, but fair prices). Rooms are good and beds were comfortable. Cold showers were better than the hot showers, these last ones didn't have strong water.

Perfect location with the most amazing staff! Cyd, Jerr, Crisa, Chrislyn, and everyone else were super accommodating and kind. This hostel also had clean and comfortable beds with great social spaces on both floors of the building. I would definitely go back to stay and hang out with the Sinag Hostel crew! :)
