The location was easy to access, Dimu, the owner (who, btw, is super friendly and helpful) greeted us with some Kind Coconut Milk and prepared us the most delicious dinner and breakfast. The room we stayed in was clean, with no mold at all and well ventilated which made our stay there exceedingly pleasant. Besides that, Dimu helped us to organise the Safari Trip to Udawalawe National Park. The Safari driver advised us to not take a tour guide as he knew absolutely everything about the animals & birds that populate the area. This way we saved some money and had some great time. Therefore, we would definitely recommend the place to our friends and to everyone who’s reading this.

At the homestay, all units are equipped with bed linen and towels. Everything was very well organised and staff were very friendly. They organised our full day safari and our guide, dushan,was fantastic. He was very patient and respectful of the animals and kept us informed about what we were seeing. There was lots of food provided on the safari too. The pool was clean and pleasant. Rooms are spacious and private.

We travelled from Canada and decided to go by what other travellers had said and glad we stayed here. The staff found out it was our anniversary and went out of their way to decorate our room - a lovely touch. The place is clean, the room was pristine, the breakfast is good and the staff are excellent. The hotel has its own safari jeep and we organized everything with them, it was probably the best thing we did. We’d go back.

Dasun, the owner, was super nice and organized a safari for us, brought us to the elephant orphanage, and as well to a river, so that we could refresh ourselves on those super hot days. The place is pretty, the room comfortable and the food was really good.
