It was by far the best accommodation on our entire trip to Sri Lanka. The room, bathroom and balcony were huge and super clean. The air conditioning kept the room nice and cool. It is very nice and quiet. The safari was super organized with breakfast and drinks. But the best thing about the accommodation is definitely Mithila we have rarely met such a kind and gorgeous person. She really organizes everything and has an open ear for all our wishes. Takes care of the food order, safari, enough water and even the laundry. We had a lot of problems with our arrival due to New Year and she supported us the whole time. Many thanks again to you! The owner Buddika was very friendly and helpful. He managed to arrange a great safari for us in Yala national park for next day at a good price even though we arrived late. And safari exceeded our expectations, during exciting trip we watched elephants, crocodiles, varan, peacocks, buffalos, dears and even a leopard very close that is a great luck and also made wonderful pictures. In addition I would like to mention excellent service and hospitality. Buddika picked our luggage up, arranged a dinner for us in the restaurant, presented welcome drinks and always helped to solve all questions.

The houses are high up on stilts giving you an amazing view over the wetlands which are full of beautiful birds. We even saw a sunning crocodile from the balcony. This isn't luxury accommodation but it's great value for the money. You'll need the mosquito net as the walls are open to the outside. But that just lets the bird calls in in the morning. The sunset from the balcony with the birds singing is magical. And the family here are so kind and helpful. Great food too! Definitely recommend as a base for your Yala safari, and stay a few extra days for the great view.

The property itself is so well kept and faces the rice paddy field. We also booked the safari through them and got to see so many animals. Because we traveled with out 80 yr old grandma, they were extra careful which really helped. If we visit again, we will surely only stay at this Guest house.
